About the meeting: When you can turn disruptive change into disruptive innovation, you create new value. Learn how a disruptive innovation toolset opens opportunities to build new products, categories and channels that deliver value to your organization over time. In this participatory session, you’ll learn a simple method for practicing more disruptive innovation, and use it to develop an idea from your own personal or professional world.

About the Presenter: Dan Reus is Founder and Chief Instigator of Openly Disruptive. Dan started Openly Disruptive after 15 years experience as a creative strategist helping Fortune 500 firms, non-profits, and start-ups create innovative products and marketing programs. He started paying attention to what sold and what succeeded over time. In hindsight, he noticed that the ideas that would have had the greatest impact were also the ones mostly quickly abandoned. He saw that opportunity was being thrown away — primarily because there wash’ t a way to discuss it, test it and improve it at low risk. Since those insights, he started Openly Disruptive as a place for exploring and testing “outside the box”” ideas, for learning to collaborate, and for mashing-up ideas from different disciplines to experiment with. He believes strongly that The future will be what we make it.
