About the meeting: For our August 3rd Meeting at CIC/Venture Café, Barry Kirk and Brendan Sullivan will be presenting from Maritz Motivation Solutions and covering some key aspects they focus on and how those relate to product managers.
Barry Kirk is the practice leader for Maritz Motivation Solutions’ Loyalty offering. A thought leader in the loyalty industry, Barry is a mentor for startups through Maritz’s partnership with Capital Innovators with his Loyalty 101 workshop. Barry will share his views on how product managers should start with the loyalty experience when considering their product experience.
Brendan Sullivan has been a product manager for 15 years. At Maritz Motivation Solutions, he serves as the Director of Strategy, Innovation and Partnerships. In his talk, Brendan will talk about the challenge of changing business models in established companies, innovating at scale, his work with startups at Capital Innovators in helping them fine tune their value propositions, and how that work helps Maritz.
About the event
This meeting is part of the weekly Venture Café Gathering at CIC. Every Thursday from 3:00 – 8:00pm, The Venture Café welcomes the innovation community to “a weekly gathering of innovators and startups. A place for serendipitous collisions to occur. Each week there are roundtable discussions, information tables, office hours with thought leaders, and guest speakers relevant to the ecosystem.”
The St. Louis Product Management Group meeting will be held in the Havana Room (2nd floor) from 7-7:45pm. You are encouraged to arrive early to participate in other related events, along with networking and refreshments. Check the Venture Café calendar to see what other events are going on before our meeting.
