Meeting Information

Meetings are open to everyone — there is no charge to attend. This meeting will be held at The Venture Cafe Gathering at CIC from 6-8pm. Our normal meeting time is at 7pm, but for this special event, we will be “joining forces” with the Inventors Association of St. Louis for their meeting from 6-7pm.

About the meeting: We spend a great deal of time perfecting our offerings…rightfully so. But, in the process, are we overlooking the importance of identifying our most profitable markets, ascertaining what customers want, developing a brand that indicates that we’re paying attention to what customers and prospective customers are saying? Jonah White, founder of Billy-Bob Teeth Company, is going to share his secrets for building a BIG dollar brand on a shoestring budget. In the process he’s going to demonstrate that how we go to market may be more important than how “perfect” our product is.

About the Presenter: Jonah White. Jonah started out with $400 in savings and an idea. He’s built a huge brand with simple products and high margins. His success has been showcased on the Discovery Channel and touted in numerous national publications, including Bloomberg Businessweek.
